Wiggly Workers

Next time you are on a nature walk, take a moment to observe and appreciate all that is around you.

Notice the sky soaring above you. Is it cloudy or clear?

Observe the trees and plants around you. Do they have leaves or needles?

Look down at the ground beneath your feet. Take a deep breath as you press your feet into the ground and wiggle your toes. Do you feel anything moving under you? What could be going on under the soil?

Let's join Scout & the Gumboot Kids as they solve The Case of Wiggly Worker.

They make gold for your garden,
the whole year through.
They make gold for your garden,
Yes they do.
I...I love worms!
I...I love worms!

Earthworms are very important to our ecosystem. Without earthworms the earth's soil would be too compact, making it almost impossible to grow our food & beautiful flowers.

We should do what we can to help the worms in our gardens. Click HERE for a printable to help the wiggly worker find his way to the surface.

Their hard work helps the garden grow & gives us food to eat.
Let’s be grateful and gentle to the wiggly worms we meet.
